The eligibility for getting this certificate is passing an exam. The exam is 4 hours long with 125 questions that need to be solved by the aspirant. In order to pass, a candidate has to get at least 70 percent marks. However, the cut-score could range from 60% to 85%.

Age Requirements

To be eligible for the exam, one needs to be at least 18 years old. However, in case one is under 18, then they need to submit a written consent of their parent or legal guardian. Along with that a supporting letter from their institution of higher learning is also required to be submitted to the accredited training center/EC-Council.

Application and Retake

In order to apply for the exam, a candidate has to pay a $500 fee which is non-refundable. The application process takes around 5-10 working days to get completed.
